This is about a young girl (of about 11) who (thanks to her brotherā€™s comments) thinks Dracula and vampires are real and are after her.
Additional comments by her mean brother and his friends, and convincing explanations by a smooth talking salesman, further push her into believing that her fears are justified. She therefore decides to use crosses and clusters of garlic for protection. Her friends at school, however, tell her that crosses canā€™t help her because sheā€™s not Christian!

Following a lengthy internal struggle, she decides reluctantly to change her religion in order to be able to use the cross for protection.
