Fanatic extremists, Generals Blakemoor and Dilack, have taken over the United Statesā€™ military forces, who in turn had stepped in to run the country after the devastating strike on Washington by Vampulon, the extraterrestrial horror. Blakemoor and Dilack are working with nanotech tycoon Ian Blackweather on a truly diabolical plan to subjugate and utterly control every last human on Earth. And there doesnā€™t seem to be much standing in their way.

But then thereā€™s Krakenstein. Regenerated by mysterious alien forces, imbued with new abilities, flanked by Titus Valanceā€™s invisible airships, the former Dr. Max Shepperton is not alone by any meansā€”yet even all that might not be enough for what the dark generals are about to throw at him.

Meanwhile, the human stars of the Next Regeneration Trilogy find themselves up against even more intimidating odds than their immense squid-headed ally. Rhone Ferris seeks to infiltrate a top secret military stronghold and rescue Dr. Deanna Sharlayne while Jona Sanders strives to rescue kidnapped world diplomats from another.
